Do Today’s Telescopes Outperform Galileo’s Telescope?

window.document.getElementById(’post-55′).parentNode.className += ‘ adhesive_post’;Since the internet has created easy access to even a hobby such as practical astronomy, we have easy access to telescopes. Even some toy stores sell telescopes. The question comes to mind - do all these telescopes outperform Galileo’s telescope. Join me as we take a look.
When Galileo was born, there were no telescopes. There were no stores to go to, to buy a telescope. In fact at that time, the telescope was not invented yet. It was a frontier, like the invention of the computer.
When we think of Galileo, we often think astronomy, but his real life was a bit different at first. Most of Galileo’s time and energy was in mathematics and that is what he spent most of his time. In fact he became professor of mathematics at the University of Pisa in 1589.

Up until modern technological advances and the advent of space telescopes it would in fact seem logical to credit a divine being with the creation of the Universe, simply for lack of a better explanation. However what this simple sentence does not explain is how the Universe was created, it merely says that it was done.
In the late 19th century and early 20th century scientific thinking began to overtake religious ideas as men such as Darwin and Einstein began to publish their theories. Many of the new scientific ideas would look to explain the laws that govern the way things are and the way that they came to be. While Darwin would upset a great number of religious people with his ideas on the origin of life on Earth, Einstein and his contemporaries’ ideas would cause relatively less […]

There are 2 best places to buy telescopes today. That is either buying online or offline. Though both offer you benefits, you choice will come down to your needs.
* Best Places To Buy Telescopes - Offline
One of the best places to buy telescopes is offline. This is retail stores that specialize in telescopes. They offer you personal service, and they likely know about astronomy.
Though these can be a great way to buy telescopes, they don’t offer good prices. Even though some of these specialized telescope stores have a good selection of telescopes, some of them don’t.
Finding these telescope stores is not easy. There is not one on every street. There is not one in every area. And in some places, there is not one in every city! This can make going to a specialized telescope store to buy a telescope, a pilgrimage!
* Best Places To Buy Telescopes Online
